Paul Kossman in the late 1950s. The company's first project was the design and
construction of a 20,000 square foot office building in a suburb of Pittsburgh,
PA known as Greentree. This project was the start of the first suburban office
complex built in the Pittsburgh area, now know as Parkway Center. Kossman is one
of Western Pennsylvania's largest commercial real estate developers. A leader
in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, real estate development with interests throughout
the Mid-West and South West. Kossman Development designs, develops, owns
and manages retail, office, apartments/residential, hotels, and assisted living
facilities. Total holdings include more than 3 million square feet of developed
property. Kossman Development Company also owns several parcels of land which
have been "land banked" for the purpose of future development focusing
on the needs of a particular client or for use by multiple clients. In addition
